Although these imported equipment have certain advantages in performance and provide strong support for early production work, as the company's business territory continues to expand and its scale grows, the road to purchasing imported equipment has gradually become full of thorns. On the one hand, factors such as changes in the international situation and adjustments in trade policies have led to cumbersome and restricted procurement processes; on the other hand, problems such as extended delivery cycles and untimely after-sales responses have also followed, bringing many unstable factors to production operations.
At the same time, the domestic fiber processing field has shown a good trend of vigorous development. Many domestic enterprises and scientific research institutions have increased their investment in research and development, and technological innovation results have continued to emerge. Against this background, conventional fiber processing equipment such as fiber strippers, cutters and welding machines have gradually been replaced by domestic production. Domestic equipment not only keeps catching up with imported products in terms of performance, but also shows obvious advantages in terms of price and after-sales service, which has effectively promoted the overall development of the industry. However, it cannot be ignored that in the technically difficult subdivision of large-diameter optical fiber processing, it is still heavily dependent on imported equipment.
Faced with this industry situation, Raycus Laser, with its keen market insight and strong sense of innovation mission, decisively launched a project to carry out the integrated optical fiber stripping, cutting and melting equipment project. During the research and development process, the team members overcame many technical difficulties such as optical design, automatic control, and welding algorithms, and after countless experiments, improvements and optimizations. In the end, the first domestic integrated operation equipment for optical fiber stripping, cutting and welding with independent intellectual property rights was successfully developed.
The equipment has a motion accuracy of 0.2um and can process optical fibers with a diameter of 125um-1200um. After the optical fiber is loaded, it can be stripped, cut and melted automatically with one button, reducing the operating steps of employees and avoiding collisions during transportation. The equipment integrates advanced fiber stripping technology, which can quickly and accurately remove the fiber coating. The surface of the stripped part is smooth and does not generate heat. The cutting function uses a high-precision cutting process to ensure that the incision is flat and smooth, and the cutting angle is less than 1°. The fusion part uses an efficient fusion algorithm, which greatly improves the fusion quality and stability, and the fusion loss is 0.02dB. After actual testing, the integrated equipment has reached or even exceeded the level of similar imported equipment in key indicators such as processing efficiency and product quality, injecting strong impetus into the development of the company and the entire industry in the field of fiber processing.
